Tonight is the episode of "Deadliest Catch" where Captain Phil passes on. I gotta watch it, but gonna be a sad one. I love that show. Sure hate it that Phil is gone. Those are some tough, brave, & somewhat crazy guys!

I watched the end part of the main show and then about 15 minutes of the after the catch. That Mike guy from dirty jobs is showing up on everything these days LOL. I have to admit I didn't watch the show all the time but Phil was my favorite. I couldn't get over how much red bull he would drink and I think he would get like one breath in between lighting up another smoke.

RIP Phil.

It was a sad ending for sure.

He smoked way too much. I think on one of the After the catch episodes his sons said he was up to about 8 packs a day.

RIP Phil

:smile1:You guys crack me up! How could that be a favorite show when there isn't one darn tractor in any episode?

That is sure a hard life. Big risks sometimes equal big rewards.

Phil & other Captains own Harley's. Harley's are 2 cylinders....my Wisconsin TJD is a twin....there ya go, a match!:D

Yep, was a hard show to watch. Phil was a tough son of a gun right up to the end. He wanted the film crew whom he'd worked with for over 3 years to capture his death on film. He wanted an "Ending" to go with the beginning. Made my eyes well up watching those tough guys go to jelly.
