I was contacted by a member who's family is having a rough go of it right now. Lots of things rolling down hill at them. Not the least of which is their daughter fighting a substance dependency.

I know this is a little third person, but until some of the dust settles, I think the member would prefer to remain un-named.

Could you guys please lift up our troubled member, the rest of his family, and especially his Daughter Rachel in prayer as they go thru this trying time together? The Daughter is trying to get some help, but it may mean she won't be staying at home for a while..Also, there are Grandkids involved as well, so please remember them as you ask for guidance, help, and resolution for this family.

Thank you

I cannot fully feel the pain that several of the members here are going through but support seems to be our common asset and it comes from the heart. If I might share from a reading;

"...As a camel beareth labor,and heat and hunger and thirst, through deserts of sand, and fainteth not; so the fortitude of a man shall sustain him through all perils..."

Be strong & Bwell

I know all to well the pain of having a child that is substance dependent. That is why our granddaughter lives with us. Thankfully through though love and lot's of prayers she has turned her life around and is happily married and doing well but not before she lost the mother / daughter relationship.

I will keep the member in my thought's and prayers and please pass on to them that things can change and turn around in a blink o the eye just keep the faith.

They will be in our prayers Alan. I fought substance abuse in my life for years, and have been clean for 15 years now, but it is a difficult thing, and I know how to pray for this.
