Any recommendations for finding an engine pulley that will fit a 3/4 shaft that will also operate a sickle bar or other equipment on my DB? I can find double groove pulleys but they are not wide enough to align with the attachments. I have a 4315m pulley from a 57562 but it has a 5/8 bore.

Thanks

all you got to do is bore out that one and have a new key way cut into it. any good machine shop should be able to do this. You could also just get 2 pulleys of the correct size and put a spacer between them to get the right width.

Thanks DB Restorer. I think I'll go with the spacer idea. I found some couplers at Agri Supply that I think will work for the spacer.

You can get flanged bushings for different shaft diameters where you bolt the desired pulley(singles or dual) to the flange. This setup would allow you to move the pulley out further on the shaft.

The DB that I bought with a scikle bar and had a replacement engine was done with the 2 pulley way , the allen hole was outside of the pully so that kind of spaced them apart , doesn't look pretty but works , Al

These are all great ideas. Didn't think of boring out the factory 5/8 bore pulley. I have a friend that owns a machine shop, maybe he will help me out. Thanks everyone!
