I would have thought the spider bit would have started healing as well by now. Glad to hear she has another appointment with Dr. today. I'm sure she is glad the poison is drying up. Keep us posted.

Well, good news is the bite itself is fine but the chills and fluish symptoms she has been having is because of cellulitis(sp?) which is an infection of the skin. Doctor put her on antibiotics now. She should see an improvement in a couple more days and the poison is finally starting to dry out.

I've had cellulitis several times in my leg. Uncomfortable for sure but I have not experienced the flu symptoms that your wife has. Leg would swell and get hot and throb. Hope she is feeling better soon and very glad she sought medical assistance right away.

Glad to hear the symptoms are not from the bite. Wonder what caused this to pop up?

Glad you took her to the doctor, she sure has had her share of troubles lately. I hope they are all over and she recovers quickly.

Glad she's getting the needed treatment. When something bites and then you have problems it's kinda scary.

I've had cellulitis several times in my leg.

I thought cellulitis was those dimples on my butt. .....and no one has mentioned how the spider is doing yet.
