Well after getting a little more settled into the new house I took the rigid mountain bike out for what I thought was going to be a quick ride to return a movie a couple miles away but I ended up taking a ride through the country and park and back. Ended up racking up 10.5 miles ... Farthest I've ever ridden on a bicycle - gotta say that it felt great!

Sometimes it's nice to just go peddlin' I got the kids some decent Terk bikes a while ago, but I'm still riding my old, trusty 3 speed from the early 80's. Still keep up with them tho... :)

Glad you enjoyed the ride.

Congrats on the long ride. I really need to get back in to riding again. I used to commute to work on my bike every day which was around 7 mile one way. Did a few 30 mile rides with the one local club. Now we moved further away from work and it is a little too far to try and commute by bike now.

Like George I need to get back on my bike and see if I can loose some of this spare tire I'm carrying around. I use to ride with a local club and there was a lot of completion to see who was the fastest. It was fun at first but eventually got burned out and replaced the pedal bike with a motorized version.

I've been riding a lot lately. The farthest I've went at once has been 10.3 miles, but I have been averaging 20-30 miles a week, I use an app on my phone "map my ride" to keep my distance logged. If any of you use it look me up on there, same username as here.

they have a couple challenges going on during the tour de france. I am taking part in the ride 100 challenge. I still need to ride 36 more miles in the next 6 days to complete it.

Jesse, Glad you had a great ride, it's nice to get out and clear your head on a bike ride.

I'm glad you had a good ride. I don't bike anymore.

I was thinking about getting an adult tricycle. No really. I think they are neat.

We have a tandem bike that has sat idle for three years.
