Wow, I bet that's a wild ride.

I know a guy who put skis on his Garden tractor, but this is a new one on me.

I am real surprised that my son never came up with that idea.
Neat pics thanks for sharing.
For those that miss it:
... have a 1977 John Deere Spitfire with at 340 Kolher motor in it that has been converted into an atv or go cart..... It has a Yamaha Blaster rear end in it and tires, with lawn mower tires on the front of it. This thing was built for speed and can go about 70mph and takes off fast! I currently have to many projects and no time to mess with it..There is no spart on the motor but that could be as little as one wire missing form it.. I also know of a guy who would work on it if you are interested he could get it running. Neat thing and the motor is worth something as it is a collectable sled.snowdeere.jpg

The guy that put tires on a snowmobile and the guy that put skis on a garden tractor should get together,
think of what they might come up with.

I'll bet it would be a wild ride! I think riding that at 70 MPH would be a good reason to update my life insurance!

Didn't Iamsherwood win a monthly contest by putting skis on a sears GT last winter? Seems like there was video and a whole series of posts.
I thought it was about the neatest thing I'd seen, as I recall I thought it might be a little tippy pulling logs but seems like it worked fine, where is that? I'm looking...

Found it: featured tractor Feb 2012. Go to the home page and check featured tractors...

Thanks for posting the ad here Michiganmobileman! By the time I saw the post, the ad had already been deleted from CL. Cool looking machine!
