how to make a 3 point hitch ????

how hard would i be to make a 3 point hitch for a john deere 317 i have seen some basic kits besides those the hydraulic/:confuse: plumbing would the cost be worth it or just another nightmare waiting to wake me up .

I am not real familiar with the hydro setup on the John Deeres but I would think it would just be a matter of fabbing up the lift which if you have a source for metal at a decent price and are good at fabrication then it is just a matter of a hydro valve and a cylinder. If you didn't wanna run it with hydraulics you could always go with an electric actuator.

If you have any fabrication skills,then not counting the hydraulics,it isn't that hard to build a 3pt hitch.As for cost,again not counting hydraulics,the cost wouldn't be very high.

The 317 should already have twin hydraulics on it. Just a matter of hooking in.

Yep, just plumb into the return line from the valves already on tractor to another control valve, or just use your remote lines to power it. You can leave the remotes hooked up, and tee into them. The one valve would control either.
