I'd rig up some kind of counter weight. Get a bunch of lead wheel weights, melt them down and use a loaf pan for a mold. That would give you lots of weight in a small area. A 4" W X 9" L X 2.5" tall chunk would be about 37 lbs. and not take up too much space.

Nice looking mower. I keep looking for a deal on one but haven't found what I want. Most are so far away the shipping ruins the deal.
