A fellow told me once, "It doesn't take all kinds, we just HAVE all kinds"

I thought it said 500 when I first looked at it then I did a double take when the 5K price was at the end of the Ad. I think 500 might be closer to what it's worth!

It's prolly one of them deals were the wifey says it's got to go so he sets an unrealistic price. Then he says see dear nobody wants to buy it so I guess I'm just gonna have to keep it. Just hate to see a good piece of machinery go to waste. LOL

I've used that strategy too, but it doesn't work all the time.

I don't think that he wants to keep it. From the looks of the neighboring houses, his yard probably isn't large enough to even turn it around in. :laughingteeth: :laughingteeth:

That rascal is for LARGE areas of grass. At 5k it's probably about 1-1.5K overpriced, assuming that the "spooles" are in good shape.

I have never seen one with an even number of spools/reels. And still ain't real sure this one only has six since it looks more like seven. Looks like you would have a couple thousand more into getting it to cut grass and another ten thousand, at least, to restore it to the point where it would be worth five thousand.

It seems that there are very few people left in this world that can write intelligently or even manage to string together a few sentences without major errors in grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

Ads like that make my head hurt. Badly.

That thing looks ridden hard and put away wet. There didn't appear to be one piece of it that was all together. That's why the airport mechanics gave up on it.

The grammer in the ad is as nice as the mower. We know he flunked English class and auto mechanics at the very least.
