Sears is having a sale on A "reconditioned" sleeve hitch kit. From some searching, seems some were sold with mediocre welds.

Alan, are there any welds on a Craftsman Sleeve hitch setup??? I can only think of the welds on the sleeve hitch itself (nuts and tube), and mabey the lift lever, but the rest is formed from single pieces just cut and bent correctly.

I think the suspect welds were on the frame mounting tabs.

Hmmm, I never used the factory brackets. I mounted my hitch according to my own plan lol.
