It is the pulley that came with it. I haven't changed anything.

Have you adjusted the varidrive according to the manual?

Yeah adjusted like it is supposed to be, I think it is the too narrow belt. Oh well next belt change i will try again.

BTW I went thru all my tractors and I don't have that clutch spring. How much you want for one.

Let me see if I have one that will work first. Probably pretty cheap stuff. Probably be this weekend before I know. The tractor it's on is buried.(and not in the ground)

That would be awesome. I keep getting a cramp in my foot holding the clutch lever up.

I'll have to get it off that one then check against my GTV spring. I'm thinking they are the same. Frames and clutch/brake pedal is the same.

Got the parts tractor out and pulled the engine. The clutch spring on this one is different, but you may be able to use it. All 3 of my Sears tractors have different springs on them. This is the best I can do for a pic right now.

This is not as heavy as the one on my GTV.

I've seen a spring like that, think it was on a mower deck (for the tension pulley). Have you checked Sears Parts?
Can you bend a new hook on the broken end? Might stretch it a bit more, but would work for now at least.

I don't know if I can bend it or not. I have thought about it. I will have to see what is on this other tractor first then I will make a plan.

Might have to heat, bend, the re temper some. I have done that before with decent results.
