I have them sitting in the garage and just need to put them on. Clear coat makes sense.

You could also use the clear sticky back sheet over the printed labels to seal them. Just be sure to seal around the edges (clear nail polish?) so moisture can't get to the paper underneath.

Sometimes the old ways are better than the new. Remember these? They are still available.

You can attach them with supper glue and they aill stay for a LONG time.
