I would think $125 or $150 would be a pretty good deal.
Good luck with your "new" Case GT.

They all were Hydriv as far as I know, since the days of "Colt".

No, I have only seen the one on there for 1200. But, we all know you can ask anything you want, it is what they actually sell for that counts.

This is the one for 1200.

That is somewhat correct. The "Hyrdiv" or Hydraulic drive is what Colt began with and made in 1962 and is what made their product unique from everyone else. It was so durable the overall design is still the same some 50 years later.
After Case bought them they made a few cheaper models like the 210 which had a peerless transmission, belt drive 4 speed, and they had the 100 series like the 108 117 118 ect. that were also made with a peerless rearend and were belt driven and of course the tiny rear engine riders like the 80. When Ingersoll aquired Case they made a 300 series line in the 90's at one point that was true Hydrostatic but it was also a "LT" Lawn Tractor not a "GT" Garden Tractor. That's it in a nut shell.

Yes, that one. Agreed about the asking price, but that's a big gap between his and yours (2B)

I found some info on the subject. It turns out that they did have the hydriv, but it had a different name. Here is the link.

That one on ebay is rediculously high priced. It's missing a lot of sheet metal and well... to much is wrong with it to even begin... and that's just from looking at a couple of small pictures. God and the owner only know what the true condition of it is. Now that one should be $125 . It's actually missing more parts than what's on it. lol Not to mention the messed up welded frame and bracket that is on it probably from having a FEL on it at some point which tells me it's been abused and the front end is most likely worn out from that.

...well for the record the writer of the article needs to research the 4116 and 4120...for starters and I am sure there were plenty more, for those do operate hydraulicallydriven implements, such as hydraulically powered decks and blowers...and some had PS models which are power steering...

I think you missed his point Jim.
It's saying that the hydrostatic drive Case models won't run the hydraulic attachments.
Every HYDRIV tractor can run hydraulic attachments not just the all hydraulic models.

I can tell you why that 195 on eBay is valued so high.
We all know that when tractors are painted green they'll bring more money.
It just helps when the factory did it.

Ok guys, I am waiting for a call from the seller in the morning. I think we have it worked out so I can go tomorrow between 5 and 6 o'clock. Once he calls me, I (we) will know for sure.
