I have been going back and forth with the owner of a Case 195 for the past few days and I think we have reached a deal. It needs some work, but I think I can do it. I tried everything to get him to come off his asking price of 150. He stayed firm but then he told me it has not run in two years. So I told him 150 if it runs, if not then 125. Since it has not run recently, I dont think it will run without a little work. Either way I think it is a good deal. It has a broken axle but the great Steve Guider has one he will let go of for a fair price. It has some steering issues but I am not at all worried about that. The only thing I am worried about is the wiring, the ground wire is replaced with a red, hot wire. I don't know if that was just what the owner had on hand and was the only thing changed, or if the wiring has been butchered. We have not reached a time for me to go look at it yet but he gave me a very wide time frame to work with, so I am hoping I will be able to get somebody who can take me there to look at, and most likely buy it.

Here is a copy of the craigslist add and the pics attached to it.

"Selling this old Case for parts or restore? has a broken axle and alot of hours on it, stearing is bad, only makes right turns pretty much and 14 hp motor is starting to show its age

hi Relisting due to no shows! plz dont offer me 50 or 75 bucks for this!"

I am not sure I have ever seen one quite like that, between the hood and the lights that front is very unique, very cool.

I hope it works out for you Ryan. Don't worry too much about the wiring. If the wiring is butchered there is lots of help here to get it sorted out and a chance to learn a lot at the same time.

Looks like a pretty good buy for that price, if you've got an axle lined up already.
In the picture, it appears it's been crunched in at the front right corner. Steering fix might
be as simple as straightening that out.

Good luck, and don't waste too much time getting it.

Thanks everybody! It will be this evening before I can even try to get somebody to pull a trailer. I have three people in mind I could ask and they are all working. I will relay any information to you guys.

Will, I don't know what is going on with that front corner. It looks like somebody cut it out and reattached it with hinges. I don't know what is up front there, maybe it was removed for access?
