Wow that is just neat. I really hope it is what Google Translate told you it was because we all know how super accurate that is. I am sure there were times that both of you were laughing like crazy at the translations.

Any specs on it?

Here are some specs.

Yes, Google translator was a hoot, but we always managed to figure out what we where talking about.

Congradulations on the new machine. Glad you were able to get ahold one one :)

A big thanks to you Scott, as you're the one that dug up the info, and story on these Elfs, and brought
it to our attention, here on GTT.
And, my wife thanks you too. If you get any calls from the 705 area code, don't answer. :smilewink: :smilewink:

Yes Doug, I'll need that info, and also, you're book in for a little enhancement next week. It's not far from you, so maybe an
hour off work next Tuesday, will do. :itsok:

Will were not good enough friends for that, of course if you fell you need to have it done, I won't stop you.

Looking forward to the big event, Will! I'm sure you two will have a great time opening that crate, even without the 'elf ears'!

Don't want to Rain on the celebration BUT.....What the heck is the ELF model and why is it so wanted?? Is it foreign sold only? Wouldn't it just be a diff painted model similar to what US had for them? And one could paint up one of those and no one would ever know you did diff? AND, if you paint this one up, who's to say that you didn't Do just that? Is this gonna stay As Is just to be proven?? I like GT's too, but guess not Crazy enough to dive this deep into a purchase/project. Flame Suit is ON!

The Elf is NOTHING like any GT Massey EVER introduced to the United States. You will soon see when he posts pics of his new aquisition.

Grumpy, you need to read this whole thread and the other Elf thread. Then the muddy waters will clear a bit!

I notice that it seems to come under the Industrial Tractor division which were all yellow I believe. It certainly seems well equipped with a lot of features that would have been options or were not obtainable in the North American GT's. It will be interesting to get a good look at it instead of the sales brochures.

Alan, this I gotta see! :bigrofl:
Will, need to have a GTTalk banner close by. Could be good PR for the forum. First Elf in the Americas and only on GTTalk! Are you going to add an Elf Suite to MH now?

Kenny, I think he needs to add a foreign embassy for the EU and put the ELF in there.

That might work, Brian. Didn't think about the embassy angle!
