I was reading some random posts on another site and found some pictures of a ultra rare Bolens rear tine tiller! This is the first time I have ever seen pictures of one besides in manuals and brochures.
I cant believe this one is in such good condition!
Hopefully the owner takes good care of it.....

That is in pretty nice shape. That's just begging to be restored IMO.

My manual says that model 2072 was made in 1959, 1960, & 1961.

There was also a model 2071 that was made in 1958. ....Would that be similar?

Doc., That is one cool Bolens tiller, sorry that those pictures weren't taken in the bed of your truck. Maybe you will find one someday, there is always hope.

I'm guessing its a 2071 because the brochure pictures I posted show the tiller as having a 4hp engine. The guy who owns it said it has a K90 which probably would have been used in 58'

What would one be worth in running condition?

There is still some hope Doc. Missed this one by a day. Didn't realize the rarity of them otherwise I would of jumped on the deal.5L55Ib5T13Ie3F13Nec7216b20b164e5011c0.jpg

The one you posted a picture of looks like its the same one I posted a picture of.... Could it be?
Take a look at the worn paint spots... IMO this is the same machine.

Yup I think your right. It looks like the same one. I seen it the same day the guy put it on CL. Was thinking I'll give him a call on fri and make a deal to pick it up this weekend. But then seen your post and thought I hope its still there. Nope gone . Guess I should of called right away and gave him the $95 he wanted. Lesson learned and ain't going to happen again.
