While surfing C/L this morning, I came across a W/H for $60. I thought what the heck I call about it. I call the guy and it's a vert 211-4. He recently put a new ign switch, elec clutch and switch, new drive belt and new deck belt on it. He was selling it because he hit a stump while mowing and destroyed a spindle. Anyway, here's my $60 find after a bath and an hour of modifcation to suit my needs.

It now sports 23x8x12" rear wheels vs the 8" it came with, and 16x7x8 vs the 6" it had on it. Yes the rear fender is resting on the tires but won't be tomorrow. It now has 13" of ground clearance and should (with a few more mods) be a good all around utility. Not really a tractor but it looks cool!

Nice buy for the money. Like the mods, and I'm sure there are more to come.

Just checked out that offroad forum, doesn't look like they are real active there. Saw some cool builds though.

Nice buy Jeepn! Looks like a fairly sturdy machine! If all else fails, you've got a nice ride to tool around on at shows!

You can't beat that for the money. I wasn't aware until now that the smaller W.H. tractors came with 5 lug wheels. The wheels and tires are worth what you paid for the whole tractor.

That looks like one great deal for only 60 bucks! I would have bought it too!

I don't think it did come with 5 lug wheels, he said he replaced the 8 inch wheels with them. I have seen it done but I have never seen the adapter, could you take some pics of it?

I looked at the offroad forum, it's temping... :laughingteeth:
