Looking like a great starting point, thanks for the pics.

Do you have the room under the hood for that engine? Are you going to have to mod it for the stacks or anything?


Thanks! The motor should fit alright under the hood! If it doesn't work I guess I am going to have to find another engine. I don't want to cut the hood up. I am hoping the stack won't come in contact with the hood!!

Just curiosity here, but what was wrong with the Teccy?


I do plan on rebuilding the Teccy while it's off the tractor. The Teccy motor that was on it was not original and is a 6hp Teccy. The tractor originally came with a 5.5 Lauson motor. So while the Honda is on the tractor I will either rebuild the 6hp Teccy or search for the correct 5.5.

No - that was only a staged picture.The Onan twin was only on there for a few minutes.

Hey, this looks like a great project! I like the mispelling in the title...Rustoration :smilewink: ! The 'u' can be changed to an 'e' once you have the rust off!
