or why not just throw a hydro in it. the hydro probably does just as much as that belt if not alittle more

Well got the tranny painted. Started playing wth the engine the carb was plugged and i took it apart and it was full of rust and i dont think its savable . A new carb is like 100 bucks so i may just have to order one next week

Wow that's set up Exactly like a Bolens G11XL.

Wonder if you could stick a 6 speed transaxle out of an older sears in it? Would be pretty cool to have hi/lo range.

Where did you find a new carb for $100? Parts tree has them listed for over $224. The rebuild kit for it is now up to $118. I have a 482 with the same engine/transmission setup as your 1100. I got lucky and my dealer has a rebuild kit that had been sitting on the shelf for years. He sold it to me for $40. I have a extra engine in piece if you need parts. I have a carb but it's missing the throttle shaft.

my dad works at a cub cadet dealer so parts at his price lol
