I am hosting the VGTCOA Expo 2010 in Findlay OH Aug 5-8. The club is featuring garden tractors. We are also hosting the national Shaw tractor registry reunion. I am trying to make this the premier garden tractor event of the summer. Your participation will help! Here is a link to the club's website. Northwest Ohio Antique Machinery Show
If anyone has any questions, I'll try to help. Looking forward to seeing some of you there. Doug

Sounds like it would be a great show to attend. Wish it were a little closer. It would be nice to see the Shaw Tractors in person.
Thanks for hosting the event. I'm sure you have, and will be, doing a lot of work for the Expo.

Bill, N.E. IL to N.W. OH isn't that far! C'mon over! I'm lining up some early and odd tractors to be at this event.

It would be great to do that! My legs don't go much for long, non stop, drives anymore. Maybe it will work out to come next year for a weekend trip. I'm in a new job situation, so not much time off right now.

I would love to make it out there Doug, will have to see how the schedule goes as that would be half a hike for us.

Good 8hr+ drive for me one way, maybe more. I went to Paulding a few years back to get my end mill from a fella. Not far from the show. Wish it were closer.

I'd like to see some of you be able to make it. George, if you need an area for GTTALK, I can arrange it. Just let me know in the next couple weeks. We will be laying out the showgrounds on the 1st of Aug. One of the worst things about putting something like this on is hoping it isn't a disapointment to those that travel a long distance to get there. So far, the farthest I know of is coming from Seattle Washington.

Doug, it is far enough out that it may be a possibility of us making it but I can't promise anything. If we can't make it I can send the banner out, some cards and a couple tshirts to give away for prizes and then we can arrange shipping for the banner back after the show is over.

I like the "far enough out" statement, George! I'm looking at all that needs done along with keeping up with everything else and the fact that I've only got a little over a week to accomplish it . I feel like its coming at me like a runaway freight train!! We are planning a meal for Friday night with door prizes so the shirts would fit right in. PM me if you want to arrange shipping it. I'd try to figure 3 days to get here. I know how the critical need factor works with Murphy's law. The worse you need it, the less likely it is to show up!!

I talked to a friend who arrived at the Findlay show today to set up early and she said that the place was already filling up! Makes me really really anxious to get out there!
