Old Indiana Lawn Tractor. I believe it has a 20 h.p. engine on it. It is hydrostatic drive and has a 42" cut. There is NOTHING wrong with it except a rip in the seat. I just replaced the deck belt and have a brand new spare to go with it as well. I also bought a brand new battery for it about a month and a half ago, replaced the deck drive bearing, new spark plug and a new exhaust. This tractor is great for mowing and also makes a good work horse. I am asking $200 for it. Please NO EMAILS... I don't check them. You can call or text me anytime at (810) 87four-5six8SiX. My name is Joe.

Logo is visible in the second picture' but it doesn't look normal. I wonder if this started out as one of the ones with all the chrome on it?

:anyone:

Yeah "Old Indiana tractor" is kind of a weird way of ID'ing a tractor. And I'd be real surprised if it's a 20 hp engine in it...but what do I know I'm new to this addiction! LOL

It looks a lot like a C series to me, but I'm not familiar with a 20HP model. there was a C-165 that was a hydro with a 16HP engine and that could be what we're looking at here. The C-195 had a 19 HP engine, but was a much different rear fender pan and the fuel tank behind the seat. It also had a 3 point hitch attachment area on the rear. Of course, this could be a re-power...
The more I stare at it, the more I think it's a C-165.

Its defiantly a wheel horse but that IS NOT a 20 horse engine.

This side view makes me think it has a TEC. engine, that would make it a 1974 C-120 Automatic. IMO..

I see what you mean Brian, that does look like a Tecumseh blower housing. So that would make it a 12 HP HH120 then? I have a C-120 here with the 12 HP K301 Kohler engine on it. I wasn't aware that they'd put Techy's on some of them...of course there's a lot that I'm not aware of LOL.

Looks like a Horse to me. I would guess it is a C-120 as well. Some good parts there!

Wheel Horse used TEC engine mainly in the late 60's, mostly on 6,7 and 8 hp gts. They only offered 120 auto with the TEC engine one year.
