JPackard, hope and pray things settle down for you. Any idea why you are still without power?

Dang JP, sorry to hear all this! Hope things turn round for you asap. Been without power over 2 weeks running dairy on generator. Know how it feels and it isn't good. I burned up gens at the worst times too. Never a good time though.

Paper today said thousands still without power here in Ohio, just south of us in WV it is even worse. Some areas still have trees on the roadways. Our co-op sold two skids of generators in less than a day. Chain saws are also at a premium. Seems like you see a water tank or tree limbs in every p/u you pass this last week. Just came in from watering the cows, the 40% chance of rain gave us about two minutes of rain coming back from town, our lane is still just dust. Mailman lives one road over, he lost his barn roof. He has seen a lot in his rounds but we are feeling pretty fortunate that nobody local was hurt. The town of Cambridge, about 20 miles north of us lost several large brick churches and lots of other damage, some roads still closed, power out etc. but no fatalities that I'm aware of in our county. Several folks died one county over. It has been a rough summer so far for lots of the country...
