I figured I better start gathering information now because come spring I think the HH120 in the 12 is going to need to be redone. It still has good power and starts fairly easy but she likes to burn oil. I have to add oil every two mows. In the winter when I fire it up it is like there was a puddle of oil in the chamber and it spews out the nice whitish blue cloud for a couple minutes till it gets warmed up.

I have an HH100 from the parts 10 that I had bought and stripped and from what I understand they are identical other then the bore? Is this correct? If this is the case maybe I might be better to have it bored to the HH120 piston size and get a new piston and rings for it.

The possibility of a swap isn't out of the question either. The variable speed is going to eventually become a pulling tractor but I don't want to end up putting it in the modified category either.

Does anyone have any links to good parts sources for the HH120?

I was able to find parts for my hh120 on ebay. I would pull the engine apart and check the bore. It might just need to be honed and re-ringed.

Did ya notice if they had a kit for a oh140? The motor on my G14 could use some freshening.

That isn't a bad price. I am wondering if I would be better boring the hh100 and redoing that one. I would love to do a twin especially after hearing the old girl working the blower LOL
