It is a really nice MF 14, but he will have a hard time seeing anything like that. IMHO

Nicest one I've seen I think. A bit high even here. I'd say that would sell quickly at 2000 up here. A lot depends on how good it is mechanically.

That is a nice one for sure. As far as te price is concerned, I agree it is a little high. But he just might get it.
I had a boss who was fond of saying"You reduce he chance of being told no, just by asking".
I spend a lot of time on Tractor House, and there are two brothers in Michigan who ask 2-3 times more for their restorations of classic farm tractors than anybody else listing comparable equipment. And looking at their website it seems they get it?
So who's to say?
