I know black snakes are good to have around, but damn!!!!
while mowing the tops off the dead grass I looked down and saw a snake looking like it wanted to do battle so it was on :) Backed up and took aim. Score!!! Snake vs 430 = fail :) shot out the Deck in 4" pieces:)
satisfying :)

Wow, I hope the chute wasn't aimed at the house. That might be messy.

One down, about a million to go.

Hey bro...are you lost? :rofl2: Glad to see you posting!
But our resident snake handler Ryan will be upset with you! :( Didn't it cross your mind that the snake was just rearing it's head to get a look at that awesome John Deere diesel? :smilewink:

J.D. 430...1, snake...0! All I can say is I hope that you hosed the deck out when you were done mowing! That'll get ripe in a hurry in this heat!

You and my wife would get along good. If she saw a snake while mowing the poor thing didn't stand a chance. :(
If she was using a push mower the snake won every time. :laughingteeth:

Nice to see you around Fred. I doubt anything would stand a chance after you got the 430 over it.

Fred, glad you posted. It's nice to hear about your 430 adventures.

I usually run over moles or mice in the field. Some run like heck after I've gone over them. They must have been low down in the grass. I wonder what it's like to survive the mower going over top of you.
