Hi yall i just wanted to know the value of a habn sickle bar mower that would fit a bolens tube frame. It is a 48" and i also wanted to know if its worth 300? Could fit on a ford 100 lawn tractor with some fab. the sickl bar is in great condition!

If its in good condition I would say yes but I always ask if they will take less

Pictures would help, but in great condition, I'd say yes. Make SURE all the parts are there. Stuff like hangers, brackets, linkages... Can end up staying on the tractor, and the next guy has to fab a bunch of stuff. Missing parts is a conversation starter when it comes to price, as far as I'm concerned. It will take additional time, money, and materials to correct.

The tractor in the vid is a LARGE FRAME, not a tube frame. That would make the Sickle-Mo either a Model 415 or a 415A.

Getting it to 'work' on a Ford GT could be a whole lot more work than you would want to do.

That mower is PTO shaft driven, and if I'm not mistaken the Ford uses belts to drive the implements.

Also, unlike most of the other Haban Sickle-Mos which use a manually operated handle to lift the cutter bar, the 415 uses the tractor's hydraulic lift to raise and lower it.

Assuming that it's in good usable shape, $300.00 is not a bad price at all for it.
