What do you guys think the value is on something like this? The engine spins, but the owner never tried to get it running. Needs a battery and has no attachments. I don't think it has much potential and is really only a parts tractor, I don't see it having any collectible value.

On my current adventure somebody offered to trade it for a K241AS that I have. The engine has no carb and I have never had it running. Fair trade? I am kinda on the fence about it.

Ryan is correct, these are neat little machines, I have one, yet to restore it but when it is done it is gonna be real cool...I bought mine for $50 so they aren't high dollar machines, just heavy duty 'compact' lawn tractors...the the XC designator..

It's a LT so I personally wouldn't take that trade. I don't think it will have much value even if repaired and fixed up. I'd hold on for something that would have more value. Something more collectable like a Massey 10/12 . Those Kohler engines are getting rarer.

If you have no use for the Kohler block that little guy would be nice for getting the mail in or pulling a cart for yard work.

Those little 3 and 4 speed peerless trans axles can take a heck of a lot of abuse.Maybe a fast tractor candidate?

It's a neat little tractor, basicly the same as the little Wheel Horse can't remember the model number off hand.

I had an old WH when I was younger that my dad modded for me.It would run around 30mph with the original 8hp briggs in it.I think all he did was put a small pulley on the back.

This is a toughy. I have a MF7 for one of my sons and am looking for another "little guy" for my other little guy, this would be perfect, however if you have no use, interest then it is not worth it. I think if you got it running the value would be more than the engine, but not leaps and bounds.

thing about value is a personal thing...you know ...'one man's trash is another mans treasure', but they are neat mowers and restored would be nice to add to your collection...
