Parts look real nice. How long before it's together?

Had some time this evening to get some of the tractor together.

Got the transmission installed with all new bearings and seals.

This paint is outstanding! I'd say the green is about 99.99% just like the original green.

Yes, I gave it a nice coating of grease before the cover went back on :D

Thanks, I cant stop looking at it when I walk by :D

It really stands out once you get the yellow rims on there!

 

The jolly green was too light but on my final pass through the catalog I stumbled onto a color chip I missed and it was a perfect match.

Its called "Medium Green Metallic"

If you decide to restore your 58' I'd go with this color as I dont think we are going to get any closer than this to OEM.

I am going to restore the ride a matic. One reason I haven't yet is because I couldn't get a perfect paint match or anything close. Now that we have this color I think we can run with it! Thanks for sharing!
