Look what followed me home this morning :D
Got this from a friend of mine, It has been sitting around for quite some time. Originally I think it was taken apart to repaint but the job was never finished. It looks to be all there and even has the electric Starter and front mounted PTO!!!

Unfortunately the ID tag is missing :(
From what I can tell it looks to be a 21HD-01 Super Ride-a-Matic, with a Kohler K160 engine.
Oh yeah, and the best part was I got it for FREE! :dancingbanana:

Nice find. I hope you can post some pics of your restoration as it's a completely different beast than a tube frame.

Way to go, Doc! All ready for a spit shine! Think you might need a tire or three, though!

After a few minutes of work I was able to get the engine to fire up.
I need a carb kit though as it would only run with carb cleaner being sprayed into the carb.

Its going to be a while before this one gets restored. Right now I'm concentrating on getting the Green Brier finished
This Ride-a-Matic will be the next in line to get restored though :D

That looks like a very well built machine! It's in the right price range for me too! Congrats on the new addition! The fact that it's already apart will save you some time when it's turn for restoration comes up too!

Nice acquisition, Brian!

According to the manuals, the K161 should be Spec # 28118E. ....I couldn't read the spec # in your pic.

That PTO assy has me puzzled. ....It appears to be from a #23609 Tiller Attachment, but the tiller could not mount to the back of a 20HD, 21HD, or model 220 tractor.

Do you have any additional info on the PTO? ....I could not find (in my manuals) any other attachments that used that type of PTO.

Also, I can not find any electric starter kit available for a 20HD or a 21HD, but there was an Electric Starter KIt #22736 for the Model 220 tractor. ?????????????????
