I assume those are non powered rear wheels.

you are correct they are not powered. he wants to power them.

I don't think it would turn very well with an adult sitting in the back seat, the front end would probably push a lot.

Yea it turns awful. and it kept getting stuck hung up on the rear wheels so i went over last night and helped him do some mods. made it so the rear end would pivot and was not solid. He wanted to power the rear wheels, but i told him it probably couldn't be done with what he has one rear is hydro and the other is not. Its pretty impractical but fun to tinker with.
