That saddens me, Daniel! Not just for our member, speedyg, but for all the folks in the path of these fires. They need rain badly!

MUCH worse than I do! While I am nervous & depressed about my crops, I can't even begin to imagine what they are going through. Pure fear for many...pure misery for others.
I am blessed really, especially compared to these folks.

From what the weather channel is saying, you won't get rain for a while yet. Just going to get hotter! Going to take a major storm system to break this heat wave.

Heck if I could thank you guys twice I would. Things are a little ruff right now or I would have updated you all. We had to evacuate yesterday. We have a arsenest that has set 21 fires in my county and the sheriffs department has warned me against hunting him down myself :). 346 homes have been lost so far with more to count. This has been the most costly wild fire in Colorado history so far. The day before yesterday a front moved over the front range and created 60 mph winds and shot the fire down on the west side of Colorado Springs taking out the Flying W Ranch and homes. The fire is now past Rampart reservor just east of us. One bit of good news is I have saved the Bolens!!!!! :) My wife thought that the Bolens should have stayed and all of the important documents and photos should have been saved!!! What was she thinking ? :)
Thanks for having our backs!

Prayers on the way. That's an area dear to my heart, I used to spend 2 weeks of vaction per year using the Springs as a base.
My brother is in the Springs this week at a Colorado Ministers Conference.
Got an email from him last night.

JD I know this area means somthing to you, I can tell just by the way you write about it. It is not the same now!!! I heard that they had to relocate that conference out of the war zone. Could have been another one I guess, just heard that through my pastor.

To think that Arsen may be behind all this! If so I hope they get the culprit(s) and let all those who have lost there homes and thing's that meant a lot to them have at them. Skinning alive comes to mind.

I don't know Kenny he may get off on that, since he likes to play with fire. But Skewing them might be fun.

If it is arsen I sure hope they catch who is behind all this and really it would not surprise me if some kind of terrorist isn't to blame.

Boy, I hope they catch the little b*stard who's setting them. Jail is way to good for him. Sounds like a good candidate for a 35 cent solution...

He should be made to rebuild every house, replant every tree and pay back all losses with his own two hands. That should keep him busy enough he wont be setting any thing else on fire.

Love your post!!! I would be willing to save the hard working tax payers of this country by reloading at a cost of 12.5 cents. Heck I will just eat the cost!!!!!!!!!!.
