It's not the original engine, not only is it blue but on the hood it says 14hp but in the ad it says its a 12 horse.
The steering wheel is not correct.
The top of the steering column looks to be rotted.
There is a brace on the bottom of the steering column and the collar around the column on the steering box looks broken off. Replacing that box gets pretty pricey, might want to consider that.
The garbage bag behind the engine throws a huge red flag, there could be a big problem its hiding.
The body looks to be in decent shape but the pic was taken just over four years ago. Granted the date on the camera is correct.
If it runs, I would agree with the others that $500 is a good starting point. If it has any attachments that might change things.

I agree with Ryan's comments, if you are looking for a PK I would consider this an ambitious project or a parts donor tractor and I'm thinking unless there are some implements/deck to go with it that about 1/2 of his asking price is a bit more in line. Good luck and let us know how you make out [love to know what is under the trash bag...]
I don't think I would call it a parts tractor just yet. All it really needs are the steering components. And, then maybe what ever is under the garbage bag.

Great, thanks for the detailed advice Ryan! I'll post up if anything comes of it.
You are very welcome, but don't forget about the others who helped and gave advise too!
