I've been looking for a K321 and today a 214 comes up for sale. I reply to the ad and the guy replies with info and we arrange a time to meet. Then I had to leave to go to my sisters for a family dinner. I check my email while there and the guy has left me another message with his address and I figure I'm good to go. I get home and find a message that the tractor just sold. :mad2: This is the fourth one I've missed in the last month. I think this is the second time I've missed this same tractor. There are at least 2 other people out to buy these up and I can never get there first. This one was about 90 minutes away. A 214 is ideal because it's exactly the same engine as my 314 needs.
I'll just have to keep hoping for one to come up nearby at a time when I can get there quickly.

You're gonna have to just leave a trailer hooked up and a tuna fish sandwich in the fridge. Ready to launch!

You're right Daniel. If I had of been able to just hook up the trailer and go to the guys house as soon as I heard from him i would have gotten the tractor. I had a busy day yesterday with the church picnic then a family dinner. It just wasn't in the cards. I took a closer look at the picture of the tractor and it's the same tractor I missed a few weeks ago for a lower price. LOL! The guy must have bought it to resell. He got it for a ridiculous price the first time.

I don't know if this would work but when I was looking for parts for my Jim Dandy I placed an ad in the local free paper the I was look for a Economy or Power King parts tractor , didn't get any calls the first week , second bought a 1612 and 2418 , ( neither had the parts that fit my tractor but you can't pass up good deals lol ) the third week a guy had just the part I needed for $35 , Might be worth a try , Al
