during this moving some one else has jumped own it and it has failed to start, So now I have the starter off and it appears that the Starter Drive has give up. An Help would be Appreciated, it will be the first one I've took down.

If you mean the starter won't engage the flywheel that is a fairly common problem and most often can be remedied with a good cleaning and some lubrication. As said above more info. would help.

Sorry No Brain!!!!! It is a Cub Cadet 3206 20hp Kohler V Twin. It will have to wait for a few days got to go pull 2-300 ears of Sweet corn.

Dale, does the starter go, but not engage? If so, pull the tin and starter and check the teeth on the little gear. If they look OK, check the teeth on the flywheel.

If all above ok, it's probably the bendix needing cleaned and lite oil lubed. My experience is that silicon spray is good, white lithium is bad. Every speck of dirt in three counties stuck to that lithium and had to do it again in short order.

Forgot to add, just lube the barber pole, not the gear itself.

Now if we could get some RAIN maybe the Grass will grow.At least I'm back in the saddle again. The temperature was 107 this afternoon.
