Hope that was enough to keep the corn going until the real water comes.

Just looked at your radar Daniel, and there is a cell dropping over 2" an hour right around you, I hope it not too far south of you to get it.

Just about 2 miles south of me! We just got the almost 1/10". BUT it did help the corn. Being it came at night, what little came had time to get into the stalk. The corn foilage directs what little rain we do get right down the stalk to the root zone, so it helps more than you'd think. But with around 100F all week, we sure need more.

That's kinda the way our forecast looks as well so maybe we can channel some of this gulf moisture up your way. :)

Glad you got some moisture Daniel. With all the Tstorms around you there's a good chance you will get some more soon. It's been thundering here all morning and just started to rain a bit.

May get some rain. Radar shows some entering the western tip of my county. Sure do hope we get a substantial amount! Starting to see the thunderheads.

Storms just passed within 4 miles or so to the south, and looks like the storms above us are going to slide past us. Not a drop, but it's everywhere around us. More coming, so maybe we'll get lucky. It's sure hard to have to listen to all the thunder all around us, and not be getting a drop of rain.

I hope the storm hits you before going past! My neighbors ponds are down incredibly low! The one pond is about 5 feet deep and has dropped 3 1/2 feet from being full. The other pond is 6-7 feet and has dropped 4 feet.

All we got was enough to dampen the grass, and just in the form of sprinkling. There is more NW of us, but who knows if it will hold together till it gets here. North 7 miles got a good rain, as well as 4 miles south. This has happened every single time when rain gets near. :(
