That's probably more beneficial than a down pour for everything except ponds and ground water. Glad to hear this Lowell. I only got enough to wet the ground.

Grass is starting to green up a little after last weeks' inch, I trimmed & mowed the whole yard yesterday for the first time in months, just to "clean it up a little". Our area still needs more rain, but things are looking up now, rains are coming more frequent & lower temperatures!

Most of a heavy rain wouldn't run far, just to the first crack! I'm only about 30 miles north of Gtractor, who had 3" yesterday & not too far NW of us got little or nothing. We are at the edge of "Issac's leftovers! Our yard actually sounds "squishy" on the surface this morning for the first time in months! ~~ Lowell

My rain gauge had six inches in it this morning, and it is still raining. The radar shows this rain could keep coming for a good while longer. what is they say, when it rains it pours?
