Came home from work last night in the RAIN !! got 1/2 inch they say more today (hope they are right) the "officials" say we are around 12" behind here. I am still worried about even getting a second cutting of hay...But it sure was nice breathing clean air after that rain last night.

Have not seen a rain in 2-3 weeks. My Sweet corn silked out but the cobs never filled out. I'll have to mow that under.
Anh hope we get some rain on the later planting?

Ain't no rain in these parts for a while. Got to 109* on the front porch at 3:00PM. I did water my 2 small trees yesterday.

A storm is dumping rain on me in buckets! Must have gotten 1" in just a few minutes. Not gonna last too long, so all will come down fast & hard. I'll take it! Wind got up pretty high, but I don't think any damage.

Rain stopped for a few minutes, now more storms have gathered heading this way. In the meantime, more heavy rain. I wouldn't be surprised if we got 3" out of this!

Great to hear that you are getting the much needed rains. Yesterday while at work we were able to watch a small storm move up along a ridge. It was kind of neat to see both sides of the storm while we had sunshine. We could hear the wind whistling in the treetops, but we didn't even feel a breeze at the time. Ever since we started that job it has rained about every other day while we are there. Not that they followed us home, one day it rained heavy all afternoon and not a drop at home. Sounds like a nice steady rain just started for us.

I like your rig  Is there a build thread on it somewhere? I can see something like that being very useful around the farm. Thanks for the idea.

It started raining around midnight last night. It is still raining! It is not a downpour or anything, but it will certainly make a HUGE difference! :dancingbanana:

I am also relieved to hear you guys are also getting more rain! :dancingbanana:
