Hello,I to am looking for any manuals on jd160, trying to figure out how to hook a snow blower attachment a guy sold me to go with it. Starting to think it doesn't go with my tractor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What is the model # of the snowblower?

All I see is a metal tag that says type e0930, serial 004370m. Would the type number be the model number?

If that snowblower is 32" wide, it is for the 60-70-100 model tractors.

You are looking for a snowblower with a model # of 38, 246, or 338.

Thanks therapy cat, I'll have to go measure it, so I guess I'm looking for a blower that is 38 in. Wide to match my deck?

Yep, all the blowers for the 160-185 LT's are 38" wide. So are the blowers for the LX series, which replaced the 160-185's. Those also will not work on yours. Those have long framework attached to the blower, the 38/338's have separate brackets that attach to the tractor.

Hi everyone, new to the site but not new to garden tractors, I just picked up a decent running JD 185 that I plan on fixing up and using for mower duty this summer.  I already located a technical manual for the tractor but would love a copy of the operator's manual if anyone has it, thanks!

Ok Thanks, according to images I've seen on google it's the same manual for the 130,160,165,175,180, and 185 machines.
