I dont know the year of my 124. Could somebody tell me where to find some numbers? I have been wanting to ask but haven't gotten to it, now I want to put it into the registry! It does not have the original engine in it.

Ryan there should be a serial # on the back of the rear end(I think) that would look like this: 2050043U 452188

From that, we can find the year.

Bad news, that is not original either. LOL! Now that I think of it, I still have the engine that came out of this so I can look on that. I also know what rear end came out of it, I think. I will look and see.

I couldn't find the tag on the rear end, I took a pic of the tag on the engine.

That engine is from 1967 (The letter C in the serial number determines that).
It has a special oil pan and electric start (the A and S after K301 determines that)

Thanks guys. Did they change the numbers every year or was the 124 just a one year deal?
