Thank God you don't have the inline on the older LGT 165's. That sucker kills a $100 bill! I know for a fact!

I wonder why Eaton used that filter on the fords ,but in the mtd and masseys they used a spin on head that takes a 4 dollar fram filter, thats available from any parts house. I think I would look into converting over ,if it's a work tractor

Most all spin ons for the Jacobsen built tractors will use a Fram P 16 filter. Ok, taking this further I have found it to cross to a 86546617 or a wick 51068 or what ever fits a Chrysler engine in the 70's :) not positive, but pretty close I think :)
Hold on now, if you rig takes the ET103144 it is a YT NOT REPEAT NOT an LGT.

It wont fit if yours is the ET103144 , that is the only filter that will fit.

Eaton recommends a 10 micron filter that is to be supplied by the manufacture of the machine it is installed in. That is what the ET103144 is rated at. A PH16 is an automotive oil filter and has a larger 21 micron rating.
I did some checking and Fleetguard has MicroGlass filter.
The HF 6446 has the same dimension with a 10 micron rating while maintaining the the 7-9 GPM flow rate.
John Deere uses it on there 2243 Greens mower
The Wix # crosses to 57102.
Will do a much better job IMHO.
