picking up a set of Bolens wheel weights.

Fella had them advertised on Craigslist for $100.00 which seems to be a pretty decent price based on what I've been seeing lately.

He's the guy that had the Johnson Loader on eBay awhile back.

He also has a Brinly dump attachment. It has more rust than mine, but other than that is in excellent condition.

He also showed me a center cap for a Bolens sheering wheel. I don't know what model it would have been for as it didn't match any of the tractors I have.

It had a big orange square with a picture of the Bolens Man with crossed arms. Does anyone know what model(s) that cap was used on? It is in almost perfect condition. The plastic is crystal clear, and no scratches at all on it.

Good score on the weights. Did you snap a pic of the cap?

Congrats on the wheel weights!

Was this cap square or round?

Round

Guy said that he wanted $30.00 for it which I though was a bit high...but not knowing what it's for, maybe it isn't.

If someone want/needs it at that price, I'll pick it up for them.

Well...it was smooth like the one on the left, but was orange.

Plus, I think it was just an Orange square instead of a full backround.

I'm going to call the guy and see if he will take a pic and email it to me.

It is full backround...don't know why I 'remembered' a square. Must be CRAFT disease :laughingteeth:

With the orange backround, it would look nice on the G11.

Too bad that the proper center cap for the G11 is the gold FMC one.

They were supposed to be red, but over time they faded to an orange color.

Depending on which model you had, they used a round cap with FMC printed on it, and they also used a smaller black square cap with FMC on it.

Here's a pic of one of the caps Posted Image
