A bit steep on the price.
It is exactly the same as my Haban (other than the mule drive), and tagged Sears.
I didn't know Haban did private label for Sears.
The nice thing about the haban units is that they can go about 30 degrees past
horizontal, which the standard Sears unit doesn't.

Sniff, sob... Someday...

Thanks for the eye candy Will, looks like it would make a great unit for the buyer, I agree on the $ tho. More than I can justify.

That's just down the road from me. It's on the 'highish' side, but not totally overpriced. Those things aren't exactly falling out of trees.

It was a bit different from most of the Haban Sickle-Mos with that 'foot operated lift' for the cutter bar.

I guess that would be OK for a gear driven tractor, or a hydro with a hand lever. It would be horrible for a for controlled hydro like the Bolens.

There's been someone local advertising a "new unused" one for $400.00.

Now, NOS at $400, I would think hard about. Hard to choose which kid to sell tho... Maybe the wife...

Good thing! That would hurt if you got in the way of one!

Will that's good to know about the Habens going below horizontal.

I just came back from the sellers place. I was down there picking up a pair of Bolens wheel weights that he had advertised on Craigslist.

It doesn't look bad at all. Has the normal rust, etc.

Doesn't look like it was beat up or anything. I's say that it's ready to mount and use.
