Will, are you branching out to another brand of red tractor? That would fit right in with the MF's and BH's.

I'm searching through the Simply Tractors site, and yes, it looks like a landlord. Not sure what year though.
Are these a decent machine? Pros/cons?

Will after seeing your MF with the sickle mower last year I went looking for a GT with a sickle mower.......I found a landlord 101 that I was going to restore that came with a sickle mower.....this looks like the1966 Landlord 101 model ......think it has a briggs 23D motor......got to say it was close enough to red and had a nice emblem on the front "S" that i was kind of partial too. I think it is one of the best looking GT's out. I will let some one else attest to whether it is a good model to have or not.

Yea, it does look good. It's starting to grow on me, the more I look at it. My buddy may not get it. LOL
I may have to scoop it up for myself. I'd be doing him a favour, by not letting him get addicted.

Looks like a 101 to me too. They are good tractors! I used to want one, but with limited funds & storage, I'm saving all my cash & space for Bush Hogs.

Will, these things all have a Bevel Gear Box that can be suspect. Flip the seat pan up, grab the pulley and check for play between there and the shaft coming from the engine. Obviously, before you start it ;)

As Scott and Daniel have said, it's a Landlord 101 (model # 990350) which were made in 1965 and 1966. If it has the original engine in it, it should be a Briggs 10 hp., model 243431 type 0123-01.
