Sure is hot & dry here in Ky. How about your neck of the woods? Yard is just brown now, so mowing is not an issue period. Our field corn is hurting. If we don't get rain soon, they'll be little grain in it. Already have enough corn plant for silage, but we need the grain. Seems we have one good year out of 3 anymore. Gets depressing, but it's just the way it is. I started watering my garden corn yesterday as it was just wadding up.

Hot (91) and humid here. Have had more than enough rain, lately, but who know when it might shut off... seen that happen before too.
Hope you get some rain soon Daniel!

Very hot and dry here too. Not dry enough to worry yet but lawns are really starting to burn..... Didn't look today but had to be over 90 and tomorrow is
supposed to be even warmer.

It's been cool(er) here... down to the low 90's for the last 5 days. Still no rain though, everything is looking pretty rough. Not even 2 months ago we were dealing with the aftermath from floods and rains of Biblical proportions... now it's the opposite.

Hot and humid here in the 90,s F but wet.Seems we can't get away without getting dumped on every other day.Grass is growing like crazy, have to mow even when its wet. The soil is so saturated that when it rains it's like small lakes.Poor farmers hay is ready to go and no one has cut anything,Guess it's too wet to get onto the fields plus how would the hay have a chance to cure.Sure hope we get some drying weather soon. It's funny how things are so wet here and dry other places. Have no choice but to take what we get.Larry

Well, its damn hot here too, even with the breezes. i did oxygen sensors on an 03 Astro van and i was done. its too hot for anything, but the grass just don't die. Oh, and NOTHING my parents drive has A/C right now because our New England winters ruin the freon lines.

I got to spend an hour or more inside a grain bin shoveling some bad grain out. Talk about hot! I didn't have the blower on because the dust would eat my eyes up. I also had to wear a cartridge type respirator.
