He answered & added it to the listing too, but he gave the tractor serial #.

SERIAL # 1446517709
MODEL# MF12
Hope this helps
Thanks for asking

- amherh

That serial # makes that tractor the first one they made of the last yr they made that model. 1972

Still won't let me ask a question. possibly bc I don't buy or sell much on ebay. I have a 0 rating. lol Sadly as we all know these tractors are becoming more scarce. This is the nicest and closest 12 I've seen

I'll ask him again about the engine #'s then.

Thank you I appreciate it. Not that it matters too much. Just concerned if it's smokey or running rough. but I'm sure he'll say it runs good.

Yeah, we joked all weekend about buying tractors that "Ran when I parked it, just needs a battery..."

I hope you get the answers you need to make an informed decision on bidding. I walked away from a 12 this weekend because of no spark, a little low end noise and a leaking tranny. He wanted $75, but I've already got all those issues on some of the others I own.

The only number he gave me off the engine is 1309E. He also said it didn't smoke, but likely his smoke alarm is also a carbon monoxide detector:

Dear olcowhand,

No, no smoke at all that I see. I can tell you that if I run it in my garage it sets the smoke alarm off

Heck with no reserve price this may go cheap. I would bid on it.

If it's on ebay it's not going cheap. They always seem to sell higher than i would pay if bought private.

Your right about that. A couple people have automatic bids, so that's driving it up. Doesn't make any sense to me to do an automatic bid. Your just driving the price up on yourself

Good News! I won the Massey on ebay. Couple questions: How much does the tractor weigh? And does anybody have a snow blade for it? lol I think it's a 530 model

Congratulations on the win.Looks like it's in nice shape.I think they weigh around 700 lbs give or take a little. The snow blade you are looking for is model 630.The 530 is for the 14 and 16.I think they are longer.

Congrats to you! Sounds like you're well on your way to having something youve been wanting.

I've been looking for a year for a plow, finally found one via a member here. IDT it would be impossible to build one, let me know if you need measurements.
