I have learned alot just from watching his vids. He does have a youtube channel under the same name. I dont even consider myself a novice welder, before watching his vids I was lucky just to get two pieces to stick together.Even then most of the time they wouldnt pass the hammer test. After watching his vids,my welds are holding, not pretty but holding. I only have a cheap sears 100amp buzz box. I didnt think it was capable of much, now i know what it can do and i am the only thing holding it back.

After 4 years of welding when in the service my advise is practice-practice-practice.  Don't give up, you can do it. Get yourself comfortable ahen ever possible, have your pieces of metal clean and using the proper filler rod.
