Brian that 1.181" some kind of special size to that model JD ? Or is it a metric ? Al

Al it's 30mm. It's a standard bearing size. If you look at some of the smaller Kohler K specs you will see the crankshaft main bearings are that ID. I checked the bearing size on my clutch and verified it on JDParts where you can get details on parts if you are signed in. This is handy as it will often tell you sizes on bushings, bearings etc.

Looks like the deal fell through. He never contacted me so must have sold it to someone else.
