Recently, I was working on reassembling some manuals that had been divided into sections so that they were smaller to download. Kept thinking "There has to be a better way"

Spent some of my lunch doing research on the problem and stumbled upon this article online:
http://howto.cnet.co...o-one-document/

Tried the program and it worked great. Darn Near Goof Proof.
It's free & it works, what else can I say?

Direct link to program download: http://code.google.c.../downloads/list

Bill, I used OpenOffice to do them originally. The program above is literally drag, drop, click, and name the new file.

I downloaded these, but could not get them to install. Do I need to just install from the site, or save and install? This 'puter doesn't like open office at all.

I would save & then install. That's probably how I did it, force of habit.

That's what I did, but it wouldn't install. May try again later!

Kenny, What's the exception or error message? It your puter doesn't like OO and now you are having trouble installing these app's you may have something going on. What OS and service pack are you running?

I have XP with service pack 3. I have been running all the scans and such, hasn't found anything. Error code was something like :

Kenny, I believe the problem is Service pack 3. Over this last year I have run into numerous problem trying to install software and especially drivers after SP-3 has been installed. When I posted the questions above I had a feeling you would post back with XP sp3.

I have a computer right now that produces the BSOD because the on board video went crazy and I put a pci card in and installed the latest driver for it. Looks like it may become another Linux machine since it really doesn't have the hardware to support vista or win 7.

Guess I'll have to upgrade to a better machine one of these days. Thanks, Bill!
