Yesterday I walked into the garage and saw a big wet spot about 2 feet by 4 feet under the bench. I scratched my head and tried to find the source. I found that it was coming from a fire extinguisher. I have six, yes six, fire extinguishers in the grarage. Lol. It was coming from one of those 2 1/2 gallon chrome ones. It has a valve on the top, the same as a valve stem on a tire. It is leaking from there. I think the core is bad because if you loosen the valve cap it comes out faster, I have not dared to take it off more then a 1/4 turn. What should I do with it? I don't know what is inside of it but I know its not the foam thats in the red ones. The stuff coming out is green.

Call your local Fire Department Ryan. They will know what to do with that. They may even drop by and deal with it for you.

Just don't take the valve out. The force behind would be fantastic.

I would contact your local fire dept and ask them who disposes of them and how best to move it.
