I need to find a part that seems to be specific to the G11, and the last production run of the G14 (1453-05).

Unlike the rest of the tube frames, they have a brake on the PTO sheave. I'm guessing that was required by some sort of federal regulation that came into effect in 1978 when they were produced.

Any way, the part number is 173 3074. It replaced the belt guide/guard that all of the other PTOs used. There is also a rod that actuates it, but if I need to replace it, I can probably fab that myself

Here are a couple of pages from the manuals that show it. In the parts diagram, it's #75. Plus, here's a pic of the PTO sheave on the G11 showing it, and the actuating rod.

Found one...I hope.

I checked with a few people, and ended up finding one at Sam's.

'Twern't cheap....danged near $50.00 with shipping.

But, I guess that when you are looking for an oddball part for a rare tractor you gotta expect that.

Guess I'll have to post a pic or two when it gets here.

$8.45 still seems a little high, I bet he could have got it in a flat rate envelope for around $5, It always kills me when people over charge a buyer to ship something.
